Janesville Man Facing Charges Including Taking and Driving a Vehicle Without Consent

Janesville resident 45 year old Jermell Hajwan Sledge is facing charges including taking and driving a vehicle without consent and misdemeanor bail jumping after an incident that occurred on September 5. Yesterday in court a $1 thousand bond was set, and he was ordered to have no contact with an involved victim, their residence, place of employment, vehicle, or elsewhere. Sledge cannot drive during pendency of action. He has an upcoming court appearance on September 28 at 1 p.m.
