Yesterday at 6:00pm, Officers from the Janesville Police Dept were dispatched to the area of Hawthorne Ave and Harmony Circle NE in reference to a traffic accident. According to a press release, Jonathan M Quade struck vehicles at two separate locations and attempted to flee the scene. Bystanders prevented Quade from leaving the scene by restraining him. He continued to resist Officers when taking him into custody.
Through the investigation Quade showed 3 prior convictions for operating while intoxicated. He showed signs of impairment during standardized field sobriety testing and was arrested. A warrant was obtained for the legal blood draw, toxicology results are pending. Quade was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated 4th offense, hit and run x2, reckless driving/endangering safety, operating after revocation, and resisting an officer
