A Janesville man has been arrested for a series of burglaries and thefts on Janesvilles West Side according to a JPD news release. Over the past week police have responded to several reports of thefts and burglaries from homes on Janesville’s west side. Police were able to gather video evidence from multiple homes and a suspect was identified from the videos. Officers worked to locate the suspect and eventually were able to find Edward Toyer and take him into custody. Toyer was charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft along with one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
