Janesville Man Arrested for 7th Offense OWI

According to a press release from the Janesville Police Department, yesterday at about 12:25 a.m. an officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of S. Academy St. and W. Court St. after it failed to stop at a stop sign in front of the officer. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot in the 100 block of S. Academy St. leaving behind a young child in the vehicle. With the assistance of Rock County K-9, the suspect was located. The driver was identified as 39 year old Janesville resident Ricardo Moreno. Moreno was arrested on charges including 7th offense OWI, child neglect, resisting an officer, and felony bail jumping.
