Janesville Economic Development Office Providing Support Letters for Bounce Back Program Applicants

According to an update from the City of Janesville, the Economic Development Office is available to provide letters of support for applicants of the State of Wisconsin’s Main Street Bounce Back Grant Program. The Economic Development Office has provided over 40 support letters to local businesses so far. The Main Street Bounce Back Grant Program offers $10 thousand for companies that expand or move into vacant commercial spaces. Grant funds can help pay leases or mortgages, operational expenses, or other business costs associated with newly opened locations. These grant applications will result in over $400 thousand in grant funding for our local businesses if approved. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has extended the deadline for this program through the end of this year.
