Janesville City Council Approves Submission of Grant to Combat Homelessness

At this week’s Janesville City Council meeting, they approved a resolution supporting a grant request to Rock County Human Services for funding through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to combat homelessness in Rock County. This resolution supports the City’s Safe and Healthy Community goal by allowing the City of Janesville to apply for a grant to support the construction of two affordable housing units in the City of Janesville, totaling 120 units.
