According to a press release from the Green County Sheriff’s Office, yesterday at about 9:55 p.m. deputies responded to the N5000 block of State Highway 104 in the Town of Albany on a report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that the operator, 20 year old Treveon A. Bivens from Beloit, was traveling west on County Highway B and did not see the stop sign at the intersection of County Highway B and State Highway 104. Bivens continued through the intersection and struck an embankment in the west ditch of State Highway 104. He was not injured and he was wearing his seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment, and the vehicle sustained disabling and was towed from the scene. Bivens was written a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle.
