A Fort Atkinson dog trainer accused of killing two dogs has now seen her charges upgraded to felonies. According to WKOW, Tammy Flemming, who will be changing her name back to Tammy Olson, was originally charged with animal mistreatment, upgraded the charge from Class A Misdemeanor to a Class I Felony, mistreatment of animals. This carries with it a maximum sentence of 42 months, or 3 years and 6 months in prison. Prosecutors appear to be leaning towards dismissing the misdemeanor and moving on with the felony charges, according to the report. Olson was told to cease animal training and care for animals that she does not own. She has previously denied any wrongdoing, but is accused of harming two dogs in a five month span. Both dogs eventually died.
