Fort Atkinson City Council Approves Ordinance to Annex Territory to the City

At this week’s Fort Atkinson City Council meeting, they approved an ordinance annexing the territory located at W6490 Campus Drive and W6492 Campus Drive to the City of Fort Atkinson. Annexing these subject properties will allow them to be redeveloped in the City on municipal water and sewer and in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. There is also an opportunity for these parcels to be developed in coordination with the City’s planned neighborhood. The City is considering the creation of a Tax Increment District in this area, and including these parcels, this fall.
