East Troy Township Police Reveal 4th of July Guidance

The Town of East Troy Police have released a number of suggestions for residents as the holiday weekend approaches. The department wants to remind residents to be cautious with campfires due to still below average rainfall, and to remind residents that exploding fireworks remain banned in the township. In terms of fires, campfires must remain within the legal regulations and must be attended to. Fireworks that explode in the sky will likely bring police to your location, the department says. Residents are also asked to expect traffic congestion as more people are on the road for the weekend.
