East Troy resident 44 year old James A. Stewart is facing charges including strangulation and suffocation, battery, and disorderly conduct after an incident that occurred on September 7. On September 7, a $10 thousand bond was set and he was ordered not to possess or consume alcohol. He also cannot possess any firearms, ammunition, or other weapons. Stewart must not contact an involved victim, and he must avoid their residence, place of employment, or any other place they are located. Stewart has an upcoming court appearance on September 26 at 2 p.m.
