Delavan Man Facing Charge of 5th Offense OWI

Delavan resident 47 year old Mauricio A. Castaneda is facing a charge of 5th offense OWI and operating while revoked after an incident that occurred on July 31. On August 1, a $20 thousand bond was set and he was ordered to have no alcohol in the home, and he cannot possess or consume alcohol or enter any bars, taverns, or liquor stores. He also cannot possess any firearms, ammunition, or other weapons. Castaneda cannot contact an involved victim or the victims residence. Castaneda has an upcoming court appearance on September 15 at 3 p.m.
