Darien resident 23 year old Matthew J. Nickelsen is facing a charge of interfering with firefighting - alarms/firefighters after an incident that occurred on July 28. On July 29, a $7.5 thousand bond was set, and he was ordered not to possess or consume alcohol. He also cannot possess any firearms, ammunition, or other weapons. Nickelsen cannot have any contact with two involved victims, and must avoid their residence, place of employment, or any other place they are located. He has an upcoming court appearance on August 17 at 1:15 p.m.
