According to an update from Darien Fire/EMS, yesterday at about 9:40 a.m. they responded to a local factory fire for a damaged propane tank. A full evacuation of the facility was taken as a precaution. The propane was safely ignited and allowed to burn off under the supervision of the fire department. City of Delavan Police assisted with traffic control. The incident lasted for about 7 hours.
