At the Tuesday night Watertown Common Council meeting, the council approved a new District 1 Alderperson. Dana Davis was ultimately appointed to the position. Davis has lived in Watertown for 15 years, and has a background in education. At the meeting, she noted her interest in serving on the Library Board or Parks and Recreation Commission, and also her desire to bring more business into the city to fill currently vacant properties.
