According to the City of Janesville, beginning on April 19 there will be reconstruction on S. Main St. from Lawrence Ave. to E. Racine St. This project will be ongoing through the end of August, and the road will be closed to through traffic. Detour signs will be posted, and drivers can utilize E. Racine St., N. Jackson St., and W. Court St. The construction involves a new water main, new storm sewer, replacing curb and gutter, and more.
