The City of Watertown has shared an update on the Highway 16 Construction Project. Crews have begun installing steel reinforcement for the bridge deck, and the deck pour is scheduled for today. Excavating and grading of the roadway is set to occur during the week of July 25, and concrete pavement will begin on August 1.
As a result of this project, State Trunk Highway 16 is closed from County Highway L to Water Street. Drivers can use the signed detour route to navigate around the project.
