According to an update from the City of Lake Geneva, this week for the US Highway 12 project, construction activities include concrete pavement patching, curb and gutter installation, and grading. The Sheridan Springs Bridge girder painting is underway on the western span of the bridge. Also, crews are working on concrete deck repairs and joint repairs for the Springfield Rd. bridge.
US Highway 12 will remain open in a bi-directional configuration. However, closures are weather dependent and could be subject to change. Eastbound and westbound US Highway 12 is reduced to one lane each direction between US Highway 50 in Lake Geneva at the County Trunk Highway NN Interchange in Elkhorn in the bi-directional configuration. The State Trunk Highway 120 on-ramp to westbound US Highway 12 closure will continue, and it is anticipated to re-open sometime in July. The closure of Springfield Rd. over US Highway 12 will continue until mid-June.
