According to an update from the City of Janesville, the Recreation Division, in partnership with the Hedberg Public Library and the School District of Janesville, have unveiled a new Fall StoryWalk® at the Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum (3550 W. County Hwy. A) on Friday, September 23.
A StoryWalk® is a book that presents itself page-by-page on signposts along a path. The initiative aims to promote early literacy, physical activity, and time in nature. The new autumn story is Hiking Day by children's author Anne Rockwell. The book is laid out over an approximately half-mile loop along the Jolyn Beeman Trail and will remain up through December 20.
