City of Janesville to Send Property Tax Bills

According to an update from the City of Janesville, they will soon be sending property owners their 2021 Real Estate Property Tax Bills. Property owners can pay their bills to the Rock County Treasurer, however the Rock County Treasurer’s office is not currently open for in-person payments. Property owners can deposit payments at two payment drop boxes located inside the Rock County Courthouse, or they can send payment in the mail to the Office of County Treasurer, 51 South Main Street, Janesville, WI 53545-3951. First installment payments are due by January 31, and the balance is due by July 31.
