According to an update from the City of Janesville, at the Monday, October 10 meeting of the City Council, City Manager Mark Freitag will present the City's proposed 2023 Annual Budget. Each year, the City Manager proposes an annual budget before the Council holds study sessions to review the budget before its final approval.
The public is encouraged to view the proposed 2023 Annual Budget, available for reference on the City's website at www.janesvillewi.gov/2023budget. Print copies of the proposed 2023 budget are available at the Clerk-Treasurer's Office in City Hall (18 N. Jackson St.) and the Hedberg Public Library (316 S. Main St.).
The City Council will hold a Budget Study Session on Tuesday, October 18, at 6 p.m. This meeting will occur in the Council Chambers in City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend the session, or view it online at www.janesvillewi.gov/materials.
