City of Edgerton Awarded Grant from Wisconsin DNR

According to an update from the City of Edgerton, they have been awarded a grant from the Wisconsin DNR in the amount of $651 thousand to replace private lead laterals. The grant will allow the replacement of about 160 private water laterals this year. Residents who live in neighborhoods with older homes (built before 1986) that may have lead laterals should contact the city to schedule an appointment for an inspection, which would occur at the water meter. Water meters are typically located in the basement of the structure. You can schedule an appointment by calling City Hall at (608) 884-3341.
