City of Beloit Preparing 2023 Annual Action Plan

According to an update from the City of Beloit, they are in the process of preparing the 2023 Annual Action Plan for submission to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This plan allows the City to maintain its eligibility for Community Development Block Grant funding. Two public hearings will be held to give citizens and other interested parties an opportunity to give input on community development, housing, and homeless needs in the city. A public hearing will be held on Monday, June 20 at the 7 p.m. City Council meeting in the Forum at City Hall. The second public hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 4:30 p.m. during the Community Development Authority (CDA) meeting in the Forum at City Hall. City Council will adopt the needs during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Tuesday, July 5 at 7:00 p.m. during the City Council meeting in the Forum at City Hall. Comments and suggestions will be taken in person at the Public Hearing or in written form (maximum of 300 words).
