Burlington Woman Formally Charged In October Incident

A Burlington woman is facing charges after threatening and assaulting another woman. The Lake Geneva Regional News reports that 23-year old McKaylin Shiller of Burlington is charged with substantial battery, pointing a firearm at another, misdemeanor theft, misdemeanor bail jumping, and disorderly conduct, use of a dangerous weapon. These charges stem from an incident that occurred in October, but have formally been introduced. A woman was reportedly pepper sprayed by Shiller, who also pointed a gun at the woman when she asked them to leave. The woman said her child was receiving threats on Snapchat prior to the incident. Shiller denied owning a gun and told police that she used the pepper spray in self defense, and did not assault the woman.
