Burlington Man Facing Child Pornography Charges

According to a press release from the City of Burlington Police Department, they received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a resident within the community was in possession of child pornography. Investigators were able to identify Jeremy A. Cecil as the suspect. On May 24, 2022 the Burlington Police Department’s Detective Bureau executed a search warrant on Cecil’s residence in the 200 block of Schemmer St. Several items of evidentiary value were seized for forensic examination. Cecil was taken into custody, interviewed, and transported to the Racine County Jail. He is facing charges including 12 counts of possession of child pornography with a bond amount of $25 thousand.
