Brodhead Man Sentenced To Prison for Trafficking Meth

A Brodhead man was sentenced to six years in prison in US District Court on Thursday for methamphetamine trafficking according to a news release. Darrin Demrow plead guilty to possession with intent to deliver meth in January after being arrested in November for buying 100 grams of methamphetamine in Texas and driving the drugs back to Wisconsin. Prior to his arrest Demrow had received packages from Texas with one of those packages being seized last August and contained an ounce of methamphetamine. The investigation was conducted by the US Postal service, Green and Rock County Sheriffs departments, the Stateline narcotics task force and the Drug Enforcement administration.
