The Birds eye food processing plant in Darien is suspending operations for most of it’s facility until April 27th after about 20 employees tested positive for COVID 19. The areas of the facility that will remain open will have appropriate social distancing between workers and plexi glass barriers and the company will keep paying employees who are not working due to the suspension of operations. They will also pay those who miss work due to covid 19 and the employees who tested positive are self quarantining and will not return to work until the quarantine period is over.
