Beloit Woman Facing Charge of First Degree Reckless Injury

Beloit resident 23 year old Karmen Poitier is facing a charge of first degree reckless injury after an incident that occurred on March 4. On March 7, a $1 thousand bond was set and she was ordered to have no contact with an involved victim, their residence, place of employment, vehicle, or elsewhere. She is also not to possess any dangerous weapons and must maintain absolute sobriety. Poiter must remain in her residence between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. unless at work or traveling to and from work. She has an upcoming court appearance on April 6 at 1 p.m.
