According to an update from Beloit Public works, hydrant flushing on the west side of the city is in the area south of Liberty. Flushing on the east side of the city will be between White and Cranston, west of Prairie Ave. The city is also flushing hydrants in the area north of Cranston and west of Park Ave. this week. Residents may experience discolored water, low water pressure, or disruption of service during this time, and are encouraged to wait to do laundry until after 3 p.m. in case of discoloration. The city also reminds residents that water is safe to drink during this time.
