Beloit Police Warning of Scammers Burglarizing Homes

In an update from the City of Beloit Police Department, they are warning the community about scammers who burglarized a home in Beloit yesterday afternoon. The elderly victim was approached by a male, who said he was with a tree removal company looking to remove trees. While the victim was out at the tree line, other suspects were inside the home stealing from the victim. If you are approached by solicitors, you can protect yourself by asking to see their identification and their City of Beloit solicitor’s license.
