Beloit Police Respond to Tuesday Evening Shots Fired Incident

According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, on Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to a report of a shots fired incident in the 1100 block of Harrison Ave. Witnesses stated that two vehicles were involved. Shortly after the incident, the suspect made contact with the Police Department. During the investigation, the suspect, 25 year old Beloit resident Ned J. Guerra, admitted to being the only individual to fire a weapon during the incident. He was arrested for second degree reckless endangering safety with a firearm. Police did not receive any reports of any injuries during the incident.
