Beloit Police Looking For Help From Two Shootings On Same Street Last Week

Police in Beloit are seeking information regarding multiple shooting incidents along Nelson Avenue last week. The first incident occurred last Friday and resulted in a person and a house being struck by gunfire. The house was struck three times. The person suffered a hand injury and was transported and released. Then, the next night another incident occurred on the same block of Nelson. A different residence was struck by gunfire. Police believe these incidents are related.

Police describe the suspect as juvenile male 14 to 16 years of age wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with Nike on it, thin build with a thin mustache and red shorts or underwear. They were last seen on a purple bike.
