Beloit Police Issue Warrant in Connection to January 29 Homicide in Beloit Memorial Parking Lot

In a press release from the City of Beloit Police Department, they are announcing the issuance of a warrant for a suspect in the homicide of 19-year-old Jion D. Broomfield, which occurred during the evening hours on Saturday, January 29 in the parking lot of Beloit Memorial High School during a basketball game. The suspect is 19 year old Madison resident Amaree A. Goodall. Goodall is not yet in custody, and the Police Department will inform the community when an arrest has been made in this homicide investigation. Anybody with additional information about Goodall’s whereabouts is asked to call dispatch at 608-757-2244 or the Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 362-7463.
