According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, on Monday at about 10:15 p.m. an armed robbery occurred in the 700 block of Grant St. A female victim was sitting in her vehicle when she was approached by a black male wearing all black clothing and armed with a handgun who demanded that she give him money. The suspect fled the area in a black SUV that had temporary tags.
