Beloit Police Investigating Robbery

According to an update from the City of Beloit Police Department, they are looking for the public's assistance regarding a robbery that occurred yesterday morning at an east side store. Two male black suspects who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20’s attempted to steal a purse out of a cart while being held on to by the victim. The victim held onto the purse, but fell to the floor causing minor injuries. The suspects fled the store and got into a silver or gray Infinity, which appeared to have a “year” sticker on the front window in the upper passenger side corner. The vehicle left the lot going east towards I-90. If you spot the vehicle, call 911. If you have any additional information on the suspects or the case, call 757-2244.
