Beloit Police Arrest Two Teenagers After Locating Stolen Vehicle

According to an update from the Beloit Police Department, yesterday morning officers made two arrests and recovered a handgun and stolen vehicle. Officers located an 18 year old suspect, who was wanted for a probation violation in a stolen vehicle at Liberty Ave. and 6th St. at 7:49 a.m. yesterday. The suspect exited the vehicle and was arrested. The driver of the vehicle, another 18 year old male, attempted to flee from the area. He was arrested after crashing the vehicle into a fence at Liberty Ave. and 11th St. for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent. The vehicle was stolen from Janesville, and a handgun was also located in the vehicle.
