Beloit Fire Department Responds to Sunday Residential Fire

According to an update from the City of Beloit Fire Department, on Sunday they responded to a residential fire at 6 p.m. in the 1400 block of Sixth Street. One individual was taken to the hospital, and the occupants were displaced from their home due to damages from the fire. They are being assisted by the Red Cross. The fire caused an estimated $20 thousand in damage. The case of the fire remains under investigation.
