At the Beloit City Council meeting last night, they awarded a contract for Beloit City Hall 2nd & 3rd floors security upgrades. The contract is in the amount of $1,179,900 from Corporate Contractors, but there will also be a separate contract awarded to another bidder. In all, the project cost is $1,365,510. This project is anticipated to start in early January 2022, and be completed by the end of May 2022. City Council meetings, Municipal Court, and other public meetings will remain at City Hall for the duration of the project. Funds for the project will come from the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 Capital Improvement Plan budgets.
