Last night at the Beloit City Council meeting, they passed an ordinance to repeal and recreate sections 1.13 and 1.14 (1) and (2) of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Beloit, pertaining to city electoral ward boundaries and polling places. New boundaries created will add 7 additional wards within the City of Beloit. Staff is not proposing any changes to physical polling places, however, there will be additional wards assigned to the
existing polling places, as described below:
Converse School; Wards 1, 2, 3, 24, 25
Gaston School; Wards 4, 5, 6, 26
Hackett School; Wards 7, 8
Historical Society; Wards 9, 10, 11
First Congressional Church; Ward 12
Todd School; Wards 13, 14
Beloit Public Library; Wards 15, 16, 17
River of Life Church; Wards 18, 19, 20, 27
Central Christian Church ; Wards 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30
