As Election Approaches, Town of Delavan Makes Last Ditch Effort For Referendum

The Town of Delavan Fire-Rescue is once again promoting its public safety referendum in the hopes it will pass in Tuesday’s election. On Facebook, the department mentions that of the 16 fire departments in Walworth County, it is just 1 of 4, that still uses volunteer EMS staffing. The department says the referendum passing would be crucial to allowing full-time EMS workers, as volunteers diminish across the nation.
