According to an update from the City of Janesville, during the week of August 8 certain areas of the city will see temporary water service interruptions due to the replacement of public side lead water services throughout the city. Contractors will notify affected customers with a door hanger 24 hours before work starts. Water shutoffs are estimated to be less than four hours in length. The following areas are expected to see interruptions:
Blaine Avenue from North Garfield Avenue to North Fremont Street
North Garfield Avenue from East Memorial Drive to Sherman Avenue
Milton Avenue from Benton Avenue to East Centerway
