According to an update from the City of Janesville, during the week of September 5 certain areas in the city may see temporary water service interruptions while work is being completed for the replacement of public side lead water services. Contractors will notify affected customers with a door hanger 24 hours prior to work being started. Water shutoffs are estimated to be less than four hours in length. The following locations may be affected:
Marshall Place from East Milwaukee to East Court Street
Jefferson Avenue from Ruger Avenue to Oakland Avenue
Oakland Avenue from Garfield Avenue to Forest Park Boulevard
South Fremont Street from St. Lawrence Avenue to East Holmes Street
