According to an update from the City of Janesville regarding the project to replace public side lead water services, some locations in the city may see temporary water service interruptions next week while work is being completed. This includes:
Monroe Street from Glen Street to Walker Street
Glen Street from Milton Avenue to North Garfield Avenue
Park Avenue from Rock Street to Rockport Road
Rock Street from Park Avenue to South Jackson Street
Contractors will notify affected customers with a door hanger 24 hours before work starts. Water shutoffs are estimated to be less than four hours in length. For questions, contact the Janesville Water Utility at (608) 755-3115.
