According to an update from the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation, 8th grade students Phoenix Severin (Purdy Elementary), Ian Beavers (Luther Elementary School ), Tayler Vegter (Barrie Elementary), and Oliphia Lin (Rockwell Elementary) are the recipients of the 2022 Fred and Helen Rose Inspire-A-Dream Scholarship. The scholarship recipients are selected by committees at each of the participating elementary schools. These students each received $2 thousand scholarships to put towards a 4-year college or a 2-year transfer program as a way to inspire Middle Schoolers to think about their future beyond their years in the School District of Fort Atkinson.
