Weather is being blamed for an overnight crash in Janesville that killed one and injured another. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says that just before 9 PM, authorities responded to the westbound side of Highway 14 at North Newville Road. They found two vehicles each with single occupants, on the scene after an apparent head-on collision. A 55-year-old Janesville man died at the scene, and a 63-year-old Janesville woman was being treated for serious injuries. The RCSO believes the thick fog played a factor in the collision. Their names have not been released, per the Rock County Medical Examiner's Office. No charges are being pursued.
