We're switching it up a bit on the blog today and are talking about Crystal’s cats (Crystal’s Cats sounds like a cool name for a band!)  Crystal has three cats named Harley, Phoenix, and Jasper.

 

Harley requires a bit more attention, because he has diabetes.  Crystal found out Harley had diabetes because he would drink water much faster than the other cats and would meow loudly from being in pain.  Harley had to get blood work done at the vet, and when Crystal first found out Harley had diabetes, she thought it would mean having to put him down.  However, as long as Harley takes his insulin shots twice a day and maintains a proper diet, he is a normal cat who likes to play with his cat siblings and sunbathe.
