WIS16 to Close Temporarily Near Ixonia

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, WIS16 east of Ixonia will close for one month for culvert replacement. Work will begin on Monday, October 25, and should wrap up near mid-November, depending on the weather. The project costs about $149 thousand, and will remove the existing culvert pipe, install a new concrete culvert pipe, and replace the disturbed pavement and pavement markings. While WIS16 is closed, traffic will be detoured via I-94, WIS26, WIS67, and WIS16.
