According to an update from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, WIS 106 from 1st St. to WIS 59 in Palmyra is set for construction in 2026, with potential advancement to 2025. This project on the .34 mile section of WIS 106 will include resurfacing the existing asphalt pavement and upgrading curb ramps as needed to meet ADA requirements. Traffic control is expected to be done through the use of flagging operations, but need for a detour is still being evaluated by the design team. Access to all properties within the project limits will be maintained during construction. More information will be given if it becomes available.
