Williams Bay Municipal Water Utility Increases Rates

According to an update from the Village of Williams Bay, the Williams Bay Municipal Water Utility has been approved by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to increase water rates. The increase is necessary due to a 259.49% increase in gross plant investment and a 199.25% increase in operating expenses since the last water rate case was completed in 1986. The total increase in water revenues requested is $119,476, which will result in an estimated overall rate increase of 15.08% over the water utility’s present revenues. These new rates will be effective April 1. If you have any questions, call the Williams Bay Water Utility at 262-245-2700.
