Whitewater Student Receives NCWIT - Wisconsin Affiliate Honorable Mention Awardee

According to an update from Whitewater High School, senior Guin Yeager was named a National Center for Women and Information Technology - Wisconsin Affiliate Honorable Mention Awardee for the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing. Yeager is currently studying Game Design using Unity, as well as Digital Electronics. She also serves as captain of the Aerospace Jam Drone Team, which is preparing to compete at Fiserv Forum in April. The National Center for Women and Information Technology provides the Award for Aspirations in Computing program to honor young women for their passion for computing and help them join with a network of female computer scientists for scholarship and internship opportunities.
